Except I've been TIG welding a pair of aluminum tanks all day...won't be done with them until evening. Making sure SGI has money to spend on antique stuff is a constant challenge. ;-pIt very well maybe his chosen lifestyle.

I work better under pressure.ugh...do not understand last minute people...
It's all about focus or lack thereof. When it comes down to the wire, I can focus much better with a looming deadline. I still remember one of my school report cards. In the additional comments section, the teacher wrote, "Prchjrkr is my best last minute worker." Mommy Dearest still quotes her to this day.ugh...do not understand last minute people...
SGI and I were just laughing about all this because it brings back memories of a very talented but rather obtuse young engineer/programmer we had working with us back in the day. He was a challenge to project manage. He had this basic philosophy that he would think about how he was going to execute the tasks he'd been assigned, but wouldn't actually do much real work until the deadline had passed. He claimed, with a straight face, that approach "reduced a lot of stress". So as a counter to his approach, we started padding the deadlines on anything he was given to do. It was not long at all before he caught on to that trick, and that is when he threw out a question that we still use jokingly to this very day" "Yeah..OK...but when do you REALLY need it done by?"It's all about focus or lack thereof.
