But wait, there's more...
Gonna get some for the b/f's Harley for Christmas. Just curious if anyone is familiar with the ElectroPods brand to say whether they are good/quality or not.

Whta kind of led lights?? Just to make it pretty.. which is the norm.. or ones that have a purpose like LED replacements for the stop or turn lights?? Ones that will make him more visible and less likely to be rearended?

Hyperlights are what I have on the back of mine. You can get plug and play brake lights, brake and turn signals.. etc.. OR you can get a signal minder with LED turn signals.. turn signals self cancel.. stay on as running lights..

But there's also a replacement 40 bulb brake light that flashes while stopping, and replaces the single brake bulb..

Whcih ones??

SOme may give you a hard time if you have them on "flash continuously" but most have a jumper that they'll flash 10 seconds or so, then go steady on.. those are legal in all fifty states.

I dunno... his flashed and rolled as he was driving so maybe thats the reason... I got some on the busa a while back but they were stock replacements... they did nothing fancy.

There's also an electrical genius type that has developed an LED brake light that surrounds your license place.. if you look directly at it it's a steady burn , but using the theory of persistence of vision, the lights flash when you aren't looking directly at them.

Yeah, Flashing lights (other than a headlight on a motorcycle) are frowned upon on a moving vehicle.

I saw a bike at Daytona last year that had lights all over it.... All I saw was red LED and chrome go by... It looked dumb as hell....

My biggest fear is getting rear ended while waiting to take a left turn on one of these two lane roads around here..

I have the Hyperlight Brake lights.. That are REAL bright and flash the entire time I have my hand or foot on the brake (and run as marker lights when rolling), my GIVI topcase also has brake lights that are steady on, and only come on when I stop.. plus run my turn signals as running lights..

AND have 3M black reflective tape on the back of my sidecases.. you can't tell it's there during the day but reflects BRIGHT white at night, and of course is only there when I have the sidecases on..

I'm talking about the pods and strips that you strategically place around the chrome and underneath vs. the brakes, etc. We've been to a few bike rallies and have seen several with them, and he likes them. When done right, they look really good. It's more a "for show" thing and to increase other drivers' awareness that you are there at night (as if his pipes weren't loud enough ). Here, you can have those on while riding, as long as they aren't blinking (except the brake/safety LEDs).

I'm late to this question, but I have the ElectroPod lights on my bike. I'm NOT happy with them. They are a small oval shape and I have a hard time keeping them from coming off. I want to replace them with the strip stick kind of lights.
