Moulin Rouge

Anybody have any thoughts on Moulin Rouge?  I loved it, my husband absolutely hated it.  Seems to be the trend.  You either love it or hate it, not much in between.

Didn't see it, saw the reviews, figured I'd hate the premise anyway. Was only too glad it tanked in theaters, since I thought it was WAY overhyped.

I think it's the kind of movie women may like, but that men will hate. I can't think of even one reason why I'd see it, myself.

I saw it last weekend and am not sure if I liked it or not.  I am not really into musicals, which this was (I didn't know that).  But, I can say that it is VERY visually stimulating and moved at a fast pace.  It did make me laugh in certain parts too.  Some funny, quirky charachters.   It was so bad overall.
