MOUNT RUSHMORE

People like Rose are sick.
They can find something that is offensive in just about anything.
I get offensive just reading about these idiots and their rip apart America ideas.

This country was built by people who came here to be free, and it has made a lot of mistakes in it's history, but it is the Greatest country in the world. Leave it's history alone with all of it's faults, and learn from them.
One of it's greatest faults now is people who don't appreciate what we have here and want to forget how we got here.

We're supposed to be laughing at these people until we realize they have a medical condition and urge them to get treatment, not taking them seriously.

I bet if you took a poll of every person currently living in America legally, over 99% of them don't care about this issue. I'd venture a guess and say that more than half of the people in America have never seen Mt. Rushmore.

POCs certainly don't go there because it's wilderness and they don't like to migrate too far from concrete and asphalt. How do I know this? Because the national park service had to create a division called the Office of Relevancy, Diversity, and Inclusion (RDI). Its' mission statement is a buzzword salad of babel.

gov't gobbledygook

You can find a lot of articles online that moan about the lack of attendance by minorities in national parks. The stated reasons are ridiculous. Asians don't go because there are no signs in their languages. Yet go to the big parks out west. They are full of Asian tourists. They come in by the busload. ANother excuse is they don't know these places exist. Again, millions of foreign visitors have no problem knowing these places exist.

Don't anyone hold your breath waiting for the nfl or nba to have initiatives to address their demographic shortcomings. They only care about race when it comes to coaches, not players.

Minorities do not go to public parks and historical places.
They might learn something.

For example, Cedar Hill the home of Frederick Douglas is right there in Anacostia ,Washington DC.
How many denizens of Anacostia does anyone think has ever visited it.
How many think if you asked anyone from Anacostia who Frederick Douglas was, would know.

I'd beg to differ. Try getting into Point Lookout or any other water-front park during the summer.

If you mean wooded state parks with camping or RVs, yeah, agree.

The above ex-player is an example of why I have not watched basketball for a few decades.

Well: You are speaking of our brown brothers from South America looking for a place to go fishing.
They aren't there for an educational experience.

I don't think I've ever heard of (checks notes) Jalen Rose before today. So he's not someone who's going to influence my opinion on anything. He's just another crazy person saying stupid chit.
