MSNBC's John Brennan: 'Absurd' To Say Fired Joint Chiefs Head Had Woke Agenda

On Saturday's edition of MSNBC's The Weekend, former CIA Director and current MSNBC analyst John Brennan claimed it was "absurd" to suggest that President Trump fired C.Q. Brown, who Biden had appointed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, because he had a woke agenda.

Absurd? Really? After the death of George Floyd in 2020, Brown put out a video in which he focused on his own trials and tribulations as an African-American, and concluded by saying that he wanted "to lead and listen to necessary conversations on racism, diversity, and inclusion."

In 2022, Brown co-signed a Memorandum that began by stating that "diversity and inclusion are an essential part of our society and key to the success of any organization. As such, it is imperative that the composition of our Military Services better reflect our Nation's highly talented, diverse, and eligible population."

The Memorandum laid out quotas explicitly reducing the percentage of whites in the Air Force, and ordering the Memorandum's recipients to "develop a diversity and inclusion plan aimed at achieving these goals no later than 30 September 2022."

He was just another politician in uniform. When they get to DC they either drink the kool-aid being served at the WH or retire. Thankfully we have Hegseth and others that have broken that mold.

Here is a prime example. True leadership by censoring what the troops were allowed to listen to while they ate. Thankfully he lost 56% to 44%.

My answer to Fox when I was an admiral in the U.S. Navy? I pulled the plug.
As the commander of military forces in East Africa, I asked the American Forces Network to replace Fox News during meal hours for troops. They were harmful to America's outreach overseas, and they put our troops in jeopardy.
If I defeat Chuck Grassley and turn Iowa blue this November, I will be the most senior military person ever elected to the United States Senate. I think it’s about time we had more people in leadership who understand the true costs of war and Fox News’ lies.

Nope, no agenda there. 🤪

It is my hope that we'll be seeing John Brennan in prison stripes. He is so amazingly corrupt and lawless I can't even see his face without wanting to punch it. I always like Nikki Haley until I saw her buddied up with Brennan and her disingenuous response when called out for it. That was the end of her for me. She made it clear she's the enemy and I hope she rages into her pillow every single night that Trump beat her ass and kicked her to the curb.

MSNBC President Holds Rushed Meeting with Joy Reid’s Staff After Show’s Cancellation Leaks to Media

The recording was obtained by former CNN reporter Oliver Darcy, who wrote, “Staffers expressed frustration and disbelief, outraged that they had learned of their show’s fate from reports in the press rather than leadership. Others demanded answers about the reasoning behind the cancellation of “The Reidout” and what it meant for their futures at the network.”

According to the report, Kutler confirmed that “the entire staff had been laid off” but would receive severance pay through April. She also encouraged them to apply for other jobs within the company.

Darcy reports:

Despite MSNBC’s assurances that new roles will be available, staffers exited the meeting shaken. The shock of learning about their show’s fate, married with uncertainty about what comes next, spurred significant frustration with MSNBC brass—which came through during the Sunday meeting.
While Kutler pointed to the more than 100 new jobs being posted this week as a sign of hope for the staffers, for those who have worked on “The ReidOut,” the meeting drove home a difficult reality: Their show is over, and their future at the progressive network is not certain.

MSNBC chief tells blindsided staffers of canceled Joy Reid show they’ll be laid off, but can apply for new jobs at network: report

MSNBC’s president suggested Sunday that blindsided staffers of liberal host Joy Reid’s canceled show can apply for other jobs within the progressive network as she confirmed the group of employees would be canned, according to a report.

The revelation from MSNBC president Rebecca Kutler came during a contentious virtual meeting with “ReidOut” staff in which the network chief also said the scrapped program is just a “piece of a broader slate” of changes that will be unveiled Monday, according to Status, which obtained audio of the meeting.

MSNBC just dropped this insane anti-DOGE propaganda piece of fired federal workers.

Thousands lost their jobs for refusing an experimental vaccine. The media cheered it on.

Here are some recent mass layoffs that the media is also silent about:

Southwest Airlines: 1,750 employees
Chevron: 8,000 employees
Estée Lauder: 7,000 employees
Meta: 3,600 employees

They didn’t get invited on MSNBC to talk about losing their jobs.

Are you paying attention??

Floyd got everything he deserved, should have happened years before and here's this colored general comparing himself to Floyd???? I wonder how many boxes were checked BECAUSE he was colored along the way?
General officers often aren't the right pick.... look at Kirby. He was a stinking public affairs (BFD) and kiss ass officer most of his life. 🖕
