On 6/30/2021, Tfc. J. Powis responded to the Walmart, 45485 Miramar Way, California, MD, for a reported theft. Investigation revealed John Columbus Courtney, 50 of Leonardtown, MD stole merchandise from Walmart with a value of approximately $140. Courtney was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged with THEFT: $100 TO UNDER $1,500 - Shoplifting.

On 6/30/2021, Tpr. R. Fisher conducted a traffic stop in the area of Three Notch Road and Rescue Lane, Hollywood, MD. Upon making contact with the driver, identified as Monet Nacole Bunter, 20 of Lexington Park, MD, an odor of marijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, CDS Marijuana greater than 10 grams was located. Bunter was charged at the scene on a Criminal Citation for CDS: Poss-Marijauna Greater than 10 grams.

On 7/1/2021, Tfc. R. Kaszubski responded to the Super 8 Motel, 22801 Three Notch Road, California, MD for a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed Antonio O'brien Harris, 30 of St. Leonard, MD, was involved in a verbal argument with the staff. Harris damaged motel property and was charged at the scene on a Criminal Citation for Malicious Destruction of Property.

On 7/1/2021, Tpr. J. Pope responded to Walmart, 45485 Miramar Way, California, MD for a reported theft. Upon arrival, the two suspects had fled the store on foot, but one was quickly apprehended and the other was located inside a U-haul truck in the parking lot. Investigation revealed George Edward King, Jr., 53 of Prince Frederick, MD, and Sabrina Rae Longshore, 47 of Indian Head, MD, stole merchandise with a value of approximately $1,200. King initially provided a false name but upon positive identification, was determined to have three (3) active warrants through Charles County Sheriff's Office. A search incident to arrest on Longshore, revealed CDS-Not Marijuana and CDS Paraphernalia. King and Longshore were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Theft over $1,000. King was additionally charged with Fraud to Avoid Prosecution and False Statement. Longshore was additionally charged with CDS: Possess Not Marijuana and CDS: Possess Paraphernalia.

On 7/2/2021, Tfc. A. Piscopo-Bann responded to MedStar St. Mary's Hospital, 25500 Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD for a reported theft. Investigation revealed Amy Jo Leach, 35 of Leonardtown, MD took a large amount of hospital supplies from the hospital and was detained by hospital staff. Search incident to arrest of Leach revealed CDS-Not Marijuana on Leach. She was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Theft over $100 but less than $1,500; CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possess Paraphernalia.

On 7/2/2021 while conducting a proactive DUI Saturation Patrol in the California area, Tpr. J Pope attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling northbound on Three Notch Road. The vehicle left the roadway traveling into a ditch, up an embankment and into the Hollywood Plaza. The vehicle proceeded through the interior and almost exited through the opposite side. Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department personnel secured the building and the vehicle and were able to safely rescue the driver. The operator, identified as Khayyan Brumfield, 40 of Silver Spring, MD was suspected to be operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated and was subsequently arrested. Brumfield was transported to MedStar St. Mary's Hospital where he was evaluated and cleared. He was then transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged with Driving a Vehicle while Impaired by a Controlled Dangerous Substance; CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana; CDS: Civil Possess Marijuana and other traffic related offenses.

On 7/3/2021, Tfc. M. Johnson conducted a traffic stop in the area of Three Notch Road and MacArthur Blvd, California, MD. Upon making contact with the driver, identified as Kim Michelle Neal Thomas, 53 of Washington, DC, an odor of marijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, CDS Marijuana greater than 10 grams was located. Neal Thomas was charged at the scene on a Criminal Citation for CDS: Poss-Marijauna Greater than 10 grams.

On 7/4/2021, Tfc. T. Howard responded to Walmart, 45485 Miramar Way, California, MD for a reported theft. Investigation revealed Kristen Michelle Holt, 40 of Leonardtown, MD stole merchandise from Walmart with a value less than $100. Holt was charged at the scene on a Criminal Citation with Theft Under $100-Shoplifting.
