I'm going to have to wax and buff, aren't I????? I hate that. Haven't done it in that room for about two years.

I was told Murhy's oil soap is very bad for wood floors. It gets into the space between the boards and collects dirt and dust that cannot be sanded away.

on hardwood floors? Yay or nay? These floors do NOT have polyurethane on them but do have wax. I just mopped them with a swifter that has the "good for hardwood floors" or whatever label on it and the floor looks really dull now........
hubby says--the swiffer spray stuff is an alcohol base that reacted with the wax (partical dissolve) only way to bring back to normal is to buff it back out---you are right you need to buff and wax! depending on number of layers of wax you may need to remove some wax and the best thing to use for that is naphtha. good luck!
