It took 27 hours in the office then other 10 or so on the farm adding and changing things when it was up and running. Ask Bubby he will tell you we have spent many of nights out there before he opened it up to the public.
I'm not going to complain! My kids love everything about the farm! God Bless them all for taking the time to share with the county!

Its been a team effort to get the whole thing working (the dancing house lights) but I think it's been worth it. It makes me very proud of our crew to hear all the compliments.

If everyone likes what they have seen so far....hold on to your hat for next years show....you aint seen nothin yet!

Just wanted to post and say that the Flat Iron Farm is absolutely unbelieveable! Took DH, D FIL and his wife and all four of us enjoyed it immensely!

We talked about it all the way home to Prince Frederick. Definitely worth the trip (and will probably try it again if I can talk DH into going down there).

They did a fantastic job.
Now you should go see Ann Marie Gardens.

Watch it
To the Knott farm family- thanks again for the amazing light display. We live on Stoney Court and our two kids get to see the lights from our porch. We drive through every night we are out on our way home. It make their day. Thanks for giving so much to the community and providing a FREE way to enjoy the holidays.

Also, my 6 year old is getting interested in horses. Does the farm offer any programs to ride?

Where exactly is Anne Marie Gardens? I've heard a lot about it and seen the signs on Rt. 4. I love going around to places (even just driving through neighborhoods) and seeing Christmas lights.

Going north on 2/4, go past the Food Lion shopping center in Solomons and make a right onto Dowell Road. The gardens are about a mile down the road on the left. It's a very nice show. :yay:

I'm glad my teens still like to go out and see the lights. Does this farm have any nights when they are not open? It's been years since we have gone.

We just got home from light show. WOW. They did a heck of a job this year. Those stables are pretty nice. Is there anything special about those horses? Best part is ran into a pilot buddy of mine I hadn't seen in 14 years since I got out of service. :yay:

They are just owned by people. The horse in stall #2 in the big barn is my baby.

I was doing the pony rides tonight taking the $$ and freezing.

The stalls are so nice. Wow. I was the idiot wandering around in a t-shirt because my genius son left his jacket in the other car. LOL We got the baby to sit on Santa's lap which was a small miracle in itself. Money couldn't have been bad as there were quite a few people there.
