MVA Involving an Ambulance - Great Mills

Male in a car ran into an ambulance (who was not responding anywhere) at Chancellors Run Rd @ Great Mills Road. Operator took off on foot. Police are searching for him. Now reporting injury in the accident.

1915; Numerous police units enroute. MSP went on the scene as the accident happened
1915; Subject went westbound on GMR
1916; Subject was wearing blue jeans and white t-shirt.
1917; Ambulance involved was Lexington Park VRS Ambulance 388
1917; Black male, white t-shirt and blue jeans, headed towards Lord Calvert
1919; Units in the area searching for the suspect
1921; Trying to determine if any of the ambulance crew is going to need transport
1922; Returning FD units
1926; Police trying to make contact with the owner of the vehicle
1940; Ambulance in service with 4 signed refusals

Glad to hear they were not responding to a call, or transporting a patient. Do you know if they ever caught the guy the fled on foot?

Yes, it turned out the guy who fled on foot was actually a passenger who was wanted by the police. He was never found, and the driver jumped in the back seat and claimed to be a passenger. Photo and name released tomorrow.
