Stop Staring!!!!!
Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries in the area of the Hayden's Auto Parts.

Police & Fire/EMS units being dispatched now.

Numerous calls being recieved.

1245: Off duty County unit on the scene.

Helo being dispatched at this time. Requesting Engine Company for a landing site.

2 Patients. 1 BLS, 1 Flyout. (I have no Idea what BLS means)

Some confusion as to authorized the Helicopter. Apparently there is an off duty Calvert County Volunteer who was first on the scene that requested this.

Both vehicles undrivable. 2 Rollbacks being requested.

1252 Flyout patient has good airway and possible Feemer (spelling) fracture. 12 minute ETA for the trooper. 42 YO Female was trapped in the Vehicle

1255: Now advising 3 minute ETA for the Helo.

Traffic currently blocked for the Helo.

1257: Patient Extracated from vehicle

1300: Patients Family on the scene

1302: Ambuance enroute to the Trooper with Patient

1314: Command is terminating. All units reporting to service.

Going South passed by there right after it happened. Saw them working on the woman in her car. Looked like a head on. Both cars only had front end damage. Wierd.
It didn't look pretty.

What is the difference between BLS and ALS?

BLS: Basic Life Support is emergency medical service at the Basic EMT level.

ALS: Advanced Life Support is emergency medical service at the Intermediate or Paramedic level.
