I am so very blessed
I made a fruitcake today. NO! Not one of those nasty pectin-riddled fruitcake only to be the butt of countless jokes.
Today's fruitcake contains dried blueberries, dried cherries, dried apricots, candied pineapple, dates, dried figs, golden raisins, dried currants, dried cranberries, a few good handfuls of toasted pecans, plus some spiced apple cider and dark rum to bind it all together.
It smells absolutely wonderful.

J/K. Wow, Doesn't the time fly right on by. Cake sounds great but is sadly on my no no list for the time being.
Heck no I am trying to gain some poundage. BG'S cake recipe does not have nearly enough bad stuff in it to make it worth my while. I am only 45 pounds away from a motorcart trip around all of the local feedstops.
