I wanna be a SMIB
First of all, I have always had the best mousers, nothing gets past my cats. Problem is they like to leave me their little corpses all over the house. But before they leave them, they feel inclined to eat the heads first. Why!!!! Anyone else have this prblem? It is soo gross.

Luckily, mine eats the whole thing.

I have the same problem. I guess the head is the yummy part??? First I find the headless victim. Then later I find the regurgitated, undigestible portion. Welcome to the world of cat ownership. :)

I hate spiders! No secret, I will freak when I see one. I had a cat that would find the biggest spider she could find and leave it on my pillow, she wouldn't kill it, just make it so it couldn't move from where she left it. Got to the point where I would have my hubby go into the bedroom and check my pillow before I went to bed. I think she was just trying to help me get over my phobia.

I think yours are bringing you presents, a payback for the food you give them.

:ohwell: My cat will just leave the bloody carcass on the kitchen floor after batting it around all over, leaving blood trails. I just wish I knew which one of our two cats was the mouser. We think the female is the one who actually kills it and then her brother steals it away to play with it. Our other cat who used to go outside would find baby moles and scratch at the door to show us the poor thing struggling for it's last breath.

Claudia never eats her prey - just kills it and leaves an unmarked corpse for me to find. In fact, I haven't seen any critters around here in over a year because the ones she didn't kill seem to have gotten the message.

I find feet..just mice feet and the occasional head. If we find it "in time," it's not eaten.
