A baby seal walks into a bar. "What can I get you?" asks the bartender. "Anything but a Canadian Club," replies the seal.

My daughter was born 2/17 and was walking at Halloween. She was magenta from Blues Clues (this was a while ago), it was so freaking cute to see something so small walking around!

Sounds like my little one. He is almost seven months old and already pulls him self up and walks while holding on to stuff. he stands up and pushes his walker instead of sitting in it and moving. And he can move to! hes a quick one.
Hes makes out sounds that say dada and mama. I know they are probibly just sounds but i like to think he actually says mommy and daddy's names!! wishful thinking.

My baby girl will be 7 months in a week and she's not even sitting up yet. She's trying so hard but her torso is really long and her head is ginormous. :frown:

My oldest walked at 8 - 1/2 months. And my youngest didnt walk until he was 15 months. (he had no reason to walk with everyone carrying him)

My son had a hard time. But i think it was because he was really spoiled..lol! Being first grandchild and all. Your child will soon. She will just sit up then get up and run...lol! My son got mad at me and just got up and ran..lol.

My oldest just got up one day and started walking. Didn't do any of that "take a few steps and fall down" stuff. I told him to "come here" one day, trying to be funny and thinking he still couldn't walk, and he stood up and came to me. My jaw dropped to the floor. My youngest on the other hand did the cute "first steps" routine but walked alot sooner than the oldest. Actually, he did most things alot sooner than the oldest. The only thing I can recall that he was later at doing was getting potty-trained.

That was exactly how my daughter was. It was her brother's 3rd birthday party and she was going make sure that the attention was on her. She walked to someone holding a birthday present and hasn't stopped since. :hellonwheels: or :hellinahandbag:

Congrats on your little one's accomplishment, now get out the running shoes and be prepared to chase her down.

I was all excited at first when mine started walking but now feel infant/toddler mobility is overrated, they are much easier to deal with when they can't take off. And don't get me started on toddler opinions ...can make getting a little one dressed very interesting :banghead:.
