My husband can dress himself – once I’ve chosen the clothes - Telegraph
When I read the appalling report that 12 million men rely on their womenfolk to dress them, I was shocked and, yes, outraged. Who, may I ask, is styling the other six million?
Are they really leaving the house every day without recourse to hissed “you’re-not-crossing-my-threshold-wearing-that” diktats from their wives (who are always right), their mothers (a bit sad for a grown man) and their mothers-in-law (downright creepy and dysfunctional)?
Researchers have discovered that two thirds of chaps rely on a partner to pick out ties, suits, shoes or suits. Assuming their partner isn’t Gok Wan, I can only conclude that the women of Britain have a lot to answer for.
