Being a grandparent is so much more fun than being a parent.
So far I've taken young Riggs, age 18 mos, out to dinner three times and he's been a joy. Tonight he's spending the night so his mother can go out boozing with her pals and no problems. We had dinner without incident, then played outside, got a bath, read and snuggled, and he went out like a light.
I do not remember his mother or uncle being so easy to get along with.
I taught him "Who's the King?" He replies, "Elvis!"
