Mama decided to set up housekeeping under our deck... In a joist...

Mama knew a good thing when she saw it!! The feeders are about 15 feet away!!

House Wren or Carolina Wren. We haven't seen "Mom" up close and personal. Most likely, a House Wren. Aren't they cute??? I want to love them, and hug them, and squeeze them... Oh, nevermind... :lmao:

We normally have nests in the hanging plants on our porch. I checked last week but there weren't any. Will have to check again to see. I like when you make sounds and all their little naked heads pop up with mouths open waiting for food.

 Well, Mom & Pop are definitely little brown birds, and they eat LOTS of seed!! I'm pretty sure this is either Mom or Dad.

How gorgeous!!! When I first read the thread title I thought it said 'My new boobies'. Well I thought. o.k . Then I realized it was babies!

Well the chicks look like the color of a house wren, but the bird at the feeder I believe to be a chickadee. Not that any of this really matters though.

Do you have a board pulled up to look at them?

 In english, please? It's not a Chickadee, it's a Carolina Wren. :buddies:

I think he was asking about your deck - did you pull up a board out of the deck?

 Oh!! No, I did not pull a board up. I went under the deck, used my amazing "bend my body into a pretzle shape" abilities, and pointed the camera in the general direction of the nest! Got lucky and actually was able to get pics!! I didn't bother them last night, but will probably try to get an updated shot this evening or tomorrow.
