...makes the best brussel sprouts. He's an amazing cook anyway, but these spouts are a star.

You will need:

1 lb of brussel sprouts
thick cut bacon
butter
onion

  • Cut the brussel sprouts in half, or quarters if they're really big.
  • In a pan, cook up 4 - 6 slices of thick cut bacon; rough chop the cooked bacon.
  • Leave about two Tbsp of bacon grease in the pan, then add 2 Tbsp of butter; melt butter until sizzling a bit.
  • Chop 1 onion and fry in the pan until translucent.
  • Add brussel sprouts and fry for about 10 mins, until eating tender.
  • Throw in the chopped bacon and season with salt and pepper.
