My Unplanned Trip to the Emergency Room

A few days ago, I decided to go horseback riding. Having never been a horseperson, I thought I'd give it a whack. It started out good, the horse obeying my commands and rein-pulling, but then the animal just took off going faster than I could handle. Despite pulling hard on the reins and yelling at the horse to slow down, i lost my balance in the saddle and fell off, getting my foot hung up in the stirrup. As the horse was dragging me around, several on lookers screamed and pointed at me.

I thank the Lord that the manager at Toys R Us came out and pulled the plug. He saved my life.

I remember there being one of those 'horsie rides' outside the door of what is now Big Lots, in Millison Plaza. My Brother and I would 'I wanna ride! I wanna ride!' after we left the A&P.
We were both young un's during the A&P's existence.
