The victims put themselves out there. I don't see any fault with MySpace at all. This was an adult who made a poor choice. Children who become "victims" on MySpace have parents who should be shot. JMO.

I agree with you 100%. Most victims of tragedy become victims because they put themselves in a foolish position. MySpace isn't liable because some idiot decides to have someone they've never met IRL and honestly know nothing about, pick them up from home and take them out.

It's nearly impossible to stop these kind of people from getting a mySpace account.

Anybody with common sense knows not to go randomly meet someone you meet on mySpace. If I were to, I'd at least make sure I've got some form of defense.

Okay first of all.....I disagree with MySpace not being at fault. They have made it too easy for the sick and vile to prey upon the innocent. Until I see some changes with their website they will always be to partial blame for whatever tragedies result back to someone "meeting" on that website.

How is this the victims fault? The same thing could've happened to her if she met this guy on match.com or eharmony.....and if im not mistakin I thought the majority was okayyyy with that in the other forum.

Not MySpace, nor any company, government or organization, is liable for you being an idiot. Majority of things like this happen to people that CHOSE to put themselves in a bad situation. End of story. You make foolish choices, you might end up dead. That's the natural order of the universe.
