SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea (search) said Saturday that it was "quite possible" to settle the international standoff over its nuclear weapons program if the United States allows for the existence of the communist regime.

Maybe the election took its toll in North Korea.

And...................maybe they got wind that this re-elected administration is fed up with their regime, and one or two well placed nukes could very easily kill two birds with one stone, in a manner of speaking.
