What kind of nail polish have you found that stays on for more than two days without chipping, if any?

I have Orly on and it just isn't staying.

Really? I have a pink that I love and when I use it on my toes with a Orly top coat, that stuff stays for weeks!

Polish on my toenails will stay, but on my fingernails, it seems to chip away within two days or so. Maybe I will try getting a good top coat to see it that helps.

I always use a base, two coats of polish and a top coat. I can usually hold polish on my toes for about two weeks still looking good.

Polish stays on my toes for over 2 weeks but my fingernails don't last 3 days. :ohwell:

OPI, MAC, and Sephora brand. Sally Hanson too sometimes. I always use a MAC base and topcoat, and I can get at least three days out of my polish, under normal conditions. If I go and scrub the kitchen floor, all bets are off, but with just normal every day stuff, it's fine.

I have the same problem with the nail polish chipping. What I have found that if I apply base coat, polish and then top coat. That helps my polish stay on for a week and a half. I also have started to put gloves when i'm doing house work.

I've never tried base coat but that sounds like a good idea.

I find more than 1-2 coats always gets messed up so usually I will do a coat a day for like 3-4 days in a row. It makes each coat nice and hard and stays longer.

I have O.P.I. and I am thinking the trick is a top coat too. Not sure how much you all pay for yours but I thought this was reasonable and decided to share. :yay:

MAC is the only brand I've ever had any success with and I've tried everything. Even with MAC I'm lucky to get 4 days out of it on my fingers, anything else chips within 24 hours. I also use a hair dryer on high heat, low setting to set each coat including base and top coats.
