NASCAR drivers without a 2017 ride

As of right now, Greg Biffle, Matt D, Regan Smith, Casey Mears and David Ragan haven't announced if they have ride for next year. Biffle only wants a car he can win in and realistically, I don't think any of those are available in the Cup series, so he should just retire.
Both BK Racing drivers aren't coming back, so they should get Mears and another scrub to drive their junk.
The Petty 44 car seems to be the best seat still available for next year. I kinda hope that Regan Smith gets the 44 car.

Maybe Penske will add a third car. They've talked about needing to expand to be considered an "elite" team.

Well, that's like saying the Furniture Row 78 is the fifth Gibbs car.

In the case of Wood Brothers, Ryan Blaney drives for Roger Penske. And Wood Brothers has a technical alliance with Penske. It's Wood Brothers in name only.

Furniture Row gets engines from TRD and support from Gibbs, but it's not a satellite team. To be honest, it's not a "small team" either.
