Keep Calm and Don't Care!
First, I'll start with this disclaimer: I could not possibly care any less about this series than I currently do. Literally impossible.
I learned tonight that NASCAR has the Chase in the Xfinity and Truck Series. This has, just at learning this, decreased the amount of damns I give about the Truck Series but I'll still watch because at least their races are halfway decent.
How's an elimination playoff going to work in Xfinity? The sole point of the Chase is to reward and encourage winning, but Kyle Busch wins every single race. Every one. And Cup drivers can't collect Xfinity points. So, how's this going to work when Kyle Busch wins every elimination race?
On top of that, Cup drivers aren't allowed to compete in the final four at Miami. Um, can we just implement this rule for every minor league NASCAR race?
This was apparently announced back in January and I missed it when NASCAR was also announcing the charter bullsheot (with 36 cars locked in to every race no matter what) and the caution clocks in the Truck Series.
Oh, and Dale Jr ain't getting back in that car so NASCAR can kiss half their fanbase goodbye.
If caution clocks ever come to Cup, I will quit. I will quit watching forever.
And I still do not give a single damn, not one, about the Xfinity Series.
