I'm digging all the love the NPs are getting. True American gems. FWIW national monuments are pretty awesome. I'm not sure where the cut off for a park is.
Useless national park tidbit. After college, Gerald Ford was a NP ranger in Yellowstone. 1 of his duties was to bring the trash to the dump for the bears to enjoy. The museum at YNP has his official picture in 1 of their display cases.
