To be honest, I don't know of many LARGE cities run by anything BUT Democrats, even in red states.

Conservatives are used to the idea of just doing it yourself. Liberals - "progressives" - tend to think as a hive and the larger social structure takes care of needs. You can take this as far as you want - whether it's growing your own food or volunteering to the fire department or first responders.

Black "leaders" are no different than white "leaders" in that they are primarily interested in lining their own pockets. But white people don't have a "white identity" that's been jammed into their psyche; black people do. So while we look at some white shitbag and tell them to GFT, black people don't really do that. Race is important to them in a way it's not important to white people. We don't look at some freaking murderer who happens to have our same skin color and be all, "Mah brothah!"

When Barack Obama was elected none of those race hustlers were going to go, "Okay, mission accomplished! Now I'm gonna go find a real job...."
