I see how things have not changed since my retirement. Lets not hold the individual causing this horrific incident accountable, lets punish everyone. Then we can come up with a new policy that will require hrs upon wasted hrs of new training for everyone, on top of punishing everybody for one individuals screw up

Yes I do! I was deployed (easily verified had they wanted) in the Indian Ocean/Red Sea during Tailhook. I signed 4 separate letters stating I did not attend Tailhook. I didn't attend but my scheduled promotion was held for ~4 months (O2E to O3E, a large financial hit) and my promotion date was slid 4 months for the remainder of my career. Yes, I remember Tailhook and the group punishment mentality.
