They may be playing at the CRE CarShow on Sunday.... if so... might be a good way to audition them.... I called Rico and I called the Band... I'm not a very good DJ so I'm trying to get music... at the last minute... we'll see...

Try DJ Chris Productions @ 240-210-1582. Does great work and is reasonably priced.

check with Beaver's DJ Servce. 301-904-2726

He does DJ'ing and Karoke at MWR-Solomons Rec Center for the past 7 yrs and has done DJ'ing at weddings, elementary schools 5th grade promtions/dance. He has resonable prices. He also did a party for the CO on base.

The best price is an I-Pod with a good song list hooked up to borrowed or rented PA system and one microphone. Let the couple script the announcements and the timing of the activities and let a good speaking family member be the MC....

Word.... hide the mic when the drinkin starts.... drunk family members at a wedding dont make for good karaoke..

If you dont mind an old fat man in a speedo playing tunes from the 40s while he sings along, I can do it for free.

Thats actually a very good idea. You could easily fit enough songs on an Ipod to cover the length of the reception.

I see low turnout now.
