Help "Invisible Dogs"
This girl is Cadillac and she's a 2 yr old Mastiff Mix, she was turned in to the Humane Society in Waldorf (no-kill, right....) who in turn took her to Tri County Animal Shelter.
She has lived with men and women and children (from 6 months to 9 years), is house broke, playful, friendly, tolerant, doesn't jump fences or dig...
Super friendly but could use some more weight...
If you are willing to open your home to be a foster please let me know and I'll get this girl to safety.
A few things you need to know when you agree to foster:
1) We honestly do not know how long the dog will be in foster care, could be 2 days, could be 2 months.... (we believe there is a home for every dog, just sometimes it takes longer to find it)(AND right now, I'm not in a position to take anymore dogs to my home if you can't keep it for a bit)
2) The animal could come to you w/some type of parasites (we will worm it, but you need to make sure to keep your yard clean to minimize the risk to your own animals)
3) There's always a chance the animal coming from the shelter may have been exposed to Kennel Cough, if your own pets have already rec'd their bordatella vaccines, then this shouldn't be a problem.
Please if you have the room in your heart and home, contact me!
thanks,
Kathy
