All, please read the attached email:

~~I seriously need one of these kennels but can't afford to pay retail for one. I would like to find one that is preferably free or very affordable. I volunteered to keep a pit bull for a Marine serving in Iraq and she has been with us for about 6 months and will continue to stay for quite a bit longer. The problem is that she is very dog aggressive and I have 4 dogs of my own. She also attacked one of my dogs a couple weeks ago and I would really appreciate if someone could donate or sell one to me at a reasonable price. I'm a stay at home mom and I have lots of animals that we have rescued over the years. My husband would only like me to get the type that has 4 panels that are held together with brackets. If you or someone you know has one of these not being used anymore please call xxx-xxx-xxxx thanks~~

These people are doing something good for someone serving our country let's see if we can help. I've sent them an email, they are located in NoVa.

(Regardless of our personal feelings about pit bulls, this isn't the time to air it.)

thanks,
K

Does she need a vari kennel or chain type kennel??

She needs an outside chain kennel (probably 10x10 or 12x12 and 6' tall), the one's that come in panels would be the best, the ones that you have to wrap the chain around isn't near as sturdy. (I have one of those, but even my beagles are able to work their way out.)

K_K, we have some extra panels in the yard, the only thing I don't have extra is the door panel. Calling hubby now to count.

Great! How tall are they? I'll see if we can find a gate side as well (worst case, buy that).

Are the panels still needed. If not let me know because Katie said SMAWL would need them.

Well, her "husband" said if they don't have a gate side to keep looking... of course "he's" not the one doing the doggie shuffle everyday....

So let me send another note and see what the final answer is....

Ok, I'll wait to hear back. One would think it's cheaper just to go out and buy the gate portion...
