Need recommendation for wireless print server

My Linksys print server went belly up and I need to replace it. I refuse to buy another Linksys product as they don't seem to last and they are riddled with known problems which Linksys ignores. I'm looking for a wireless-G USB 2.0 server that is WPA2 Personal compliant, anyone know of anything other than Linksys out there? All the ones I have found so far use WEP or WPA-PSK. TIA

Netgear and belkin both make them. i'm with you on linksys print servers, i've always had nothing but bad luck with the dozen or so i've installed

Yeah, I looked at them, Belkin only supports WEP (which is stupid easy to crack) , Netgear supports both WEP and WPA-PSK. I was really hoping to keep my WPA2 setup I have now.

Can I ask, why you need a print server? Are you running a home network with mulitpule computers and printers?

single printer, multiple computers The only spot I have for it to set is across the room from the router and main computer. I want a wireless hookup so all the systems have access to it. I had a Linksys but it went into the USB light on only mode (known issue to which their fix is replace it). While it's under warranty still, I can't locate the receipt (not sure I care anyhow, as this is not the first Linksys to fail on me while it was still under warranty and relatively new). I have since discovered that SMC manufactures one that supports WPA2 but I haven't seen any customer reviews of it either.

I just hooked mine up to my desktop and run off there. Besides, I've got a printer for my laptop. Plus, I have a laserjet.

I use to have it hooked to a desktop but it was a pain in the a$$ to have to make sure the host system was on when one of the other systems needed to print. I got rid of all my other printers long ago since we don't print often enough to merit maintaining more than one.

Did you try searching on Newegg? There seems to be a ton of them on there :shrug:
