Looks like the Navy is sending us out of here in by Christmas. Not a lot of time to get our house ready to sell. :jameo:

I would appreciate any recommendations for painters and deck builders. We are just going to paint the entire inside and redo the deck since it is getting old. If you know anybody that did a great job (we will hire them SOON), please pass along their info.

A realtor once told me not to paint - your choice will probably not be what the buyer wants. Lower your price by the amount painting would have cost and tell any buyers that's what you did. Or offer $$$ at closing for them to do paint, flooring, etc.

Yeah, we considered doing that as well. Thanks for the suggestion.

The more I think about it, the better that sounds. It'll save us from doing it and the lure of $ never hurts when selling a house on a super dry market. Our house is painted very nicely (and neutral) already, but hubby wanted to freshen it up. Maybe we won't...
