Needlepoint and Counted Cross Stitch

I am new to the area and was wondering if there are any needlepoint or counted cross stitch groups? Also does anyone know where there are any good stores or people who do finishing?

Hello

Huge fan of counted cross stitch!!! Learned 35 years ago, and I've even entered and won at the county fairs!!!

Ok, there's a store in Prince Frederick, in the Safeway shopping center. Its ok, kind of expensive..I think there is also a store in LaPlata, but I'm not sure.

I end up finding my patterns online, buying them, and then getting the supplies at Michaels or Joann's...whichever is cheaper at the time.

I also use to do cross stitch. Loved it. I still have a few pieces that I need framed..I haven't done any in years still have a bunch of patterns and threads.. Maybe one day I can get back into it...Hey Red your in my neck of the woods. If you wanna check out the patterns I have..
