Lucy is really in dire need of a great new family to care for her. She's a beautiful purebred Akita and such a sweetheart! She'll follow you room to room and gently press against you when she wants to show her affection. Walk time is her favorite part of the day, or she'll gladly spend an hour (or several) playing in the yard - though she's always been an indoor dog. She's also an awesome guard dog, barking only when there's reason and reserved but not aggressive with strangers. Lucy is 4 years old, housebroken, spayed, and up on all her shots. The ONLY reason she needs a new home is because she doesn't get along well with one of the other female dogs in the home. She's never shown any sign of aggression toward human family members - just the opposite and we're incredibly sad to have to let her go.
