Negative viewer?

Does anyone have a viewer where you can put in a negative (from a 35mm camera) and make the negative a digital image?

I have one picture I need to digitize. It's a very sensitive subject and don't really want to take it some where publicly or mail it out to have this done.

If someone could assist, I'd really appreciate it. This needs to be done preferrable before Christmas.

TIA

Sorry I can't help you. But I have a couple of negatives from 1968/69 that I would love to get printed. Maybe someone could help with that too

Most scanners will do what you're looking for. I know mine will scan a 35mm neg, so you don't really need to be looking for a specific piece of equipment

I thought you had to have the scanner with the little hole to stick it in?

You are telling me that one of these THREE scanners I have sitting here will scan this properly? I need a good clean digital imagine to work with.

Mine was a really cheap one years ago so it's nothing special. It even came with a negative holder. Just put the negative at the very top center of the platform. Is it black & white, a color neg. or a slide? You may need better than the average no frills photo editor to get it to print correctly

I have a negative to digital converter (it was actually shown on the bottom of this page). It worked great for me on over 1,000 negatives. Let me know if you're interested and how you want to do it.
