I have been on the phone with them now for over an hour trying to get a domain name renewed. Online gives me a "sorry, try back later" for 2 days now. I had it set up to autorenew and the card on file was current. No idea why it didn't renew.
I sat on hold yesterday for an hour before finally bagging it.
Today I called and the renewal center took the call right away, but can't renew the domain for some reason. He transferred me to billing, who also can't do the renewal, and now I'm holding for someone else to try and get this resolved.
Such a simple thing shouldn't be this torturous. They should be able to see why the domain didn't autorenew, and should be able to manually renew the damn thing.
Now the guy just came back and gave me a trouble ticket number, said he's "escalating" it and they'll get back with me in a couple of days. AND he has a heavy accent so I keep having to ask him to repeat himself.
