Any reccomendations? I don't need a neurologist but a surgeon. :buddies: Going to my family doctor today and I'm sure I'll get his opinion but I'd like some other opinions as well. TIA.

I AM an enigma
Can't think of all the names off the top of my head, but when my son was in his horrific accident in Feb. of 2007, the neurosurgeons at Washington Hospital Center were AWESOME.

A lot of patients families had a problem with their "know it all attitudes". It made me feel pretty confident in them. I would try to get a referral to one of them. IF you go to WHC web site, then click on neuro-surgery, they have an entire list. I would try to get in with the director or the big kahuna in charge.

Just my 2 cents.

Good Luck.

Dr. Faheem A Sandhu, MD cut on me a few years ago. Was really impressed with how he talked me into a much needed surgery. He broke down what was wrong, how it would only get worse, and how I would benifet from the surgery.

He works out of Georgetown and the office below.
