:lmao: Nor put steam pipes running through the ceiling over one. I worked at a data center where one of the pipes burst over the communications room and it look eerily like that. It was NOT a fun night for us nor a good week for the system engineers.

Yes, especially since it set the Halon fire supression system off and nobody had a key to get in the control panel to turn it off AND it was about 1 in the morning. :jameo: Guess who got to hold the "Abort" button until somebody who could turn it off showed up about 30 minutes later? :howdy: Ah, memories.

The Baltimore County 911 Call Center is underground. It's right under a fountain. Unfortunately the fountain leaks.

In Hawaii a facility was built in a valley and then covered with dirt and concrete. Operations was on the first deck. I was in charge of remodeling the second deck for administrative offices which we to be moved from across the street at another base. The old bunny tube system had been removed, leaving about six inch diameter holes everywhere. We had built a conference room, with a false wall to cover the holes. On the one entire weekend we had off during the project, a water valve broke in the head. Water seeped down through the bunny holes onto all the equipment below. I came in on Monday to see all the equipment covered with plastic.

Mixed reaction from the crew, depending on one's location in the food chain. But lord, what a mess!

Our data center where I sit is right above the boiler room always thought if one of those boilers blew, we would be into orbit, occasionally we can feel the floor shake when I guess one of the boilers kickin.

That don't sound too safe. Was in a van when a jp4 underground tank blew. The revetment saved our butts. Felt like being in a depth charged sub, crap floated down from the ceilings and the whole van shook.
