Verizon Wireless cell phone.....

On the display screen in the lower left corner there is a yellow bell with a / through it. Having searched the functions menu, I can't find anything that explains what this symbol signifies.
Thoughts?.....with regard to the above?

On some phones, if you hold done the # key (maybe it's the * key) for awhile it will activate a vibrate only mode. Shortcut to silence the ringer if you're at the movies, kid's play, church, etc.

No.....that's not it.
I just checked; according to the settings, the ringtone and vibrate are active.

This should be really easy to diagnose using the information given since all Verizon phones are the same and use the same icons. :sarcasm:

My cell is bluetooth paired to my car. Ordinarily that makes no difference; not saying that that has anything to do with what I am currently experiencing.
If my cell rings while away from my car; it actually rings and vibrates, as I have set both. Just don't understand this latest glitch.

Operator error is not a glitch.
