The younger fella Eric that this story is about is the nephew of a good friend of mine. I remember when the news came in in 2012 that he'd been blown up, lost both arms close to the shoulder and was in a coma....for quite a while, his survival was very uncertain.

And now today...a remarkable story of medical miracles and stubborn will.

Thats awesome, I posted here few months ago about me going to Parris and New River/ Lejeune to see my kid and while I was hitting some of the local restaurants and bars I was amazed at the numbers of Grunts that were missing limbs. With todays technology you really didnt know theses guys were missing legs if you didnt see the alloy with them wearing shorts. Oorah Sgt Lund.
