Dana's 'back in the saddle again' after making her remarks. Well, now we have audio, and it's far worse than ESPN said it was.

EDSBS » Archive » EDSBS EXCLUSIVE: DANA JACOBSON AUDIO FROM ESPN ROAST

Her apology: "My remarks about Notre Dame were foolish and insensitive. I respect all religions (we could tell by your comments  -Andy) and did not mean anything derogatory by my poorly chosen words. (who's opinion was it flying out of your piehole then? -Andy)"

I disagree. On air or off, this was an ESPN sponsored event. It sounds to me like ESPN isn't much too concerned with their already tarnished public image or else they would've cut her.

First missing IndyCar races (because they were moved from ABC to ESPN3), then missing the final laps at Bristol and having to suffer through their horrid NASCAR coverage and now this.

Jacobson's complaining that her words were taken out of context. :killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme

If she has a problem with that, she should leave ESPN because they invented taking stuff out of context.

Jacobson: "I want to once again say how truly sorry I am for my poor choices and bad judgment that night (I'm sure you're so very sorry  -Andy). I've taken responsibility for what I did say and do that night (Really, when did this happen, hen you got your week off? -Andy).

ESPN - ESPN's Jacobson back on air, apologizes for comments at roast - ESPN

I would like to thank ESPN for wiping their azz with a great product and flushing it down the porcelain god and turning ESPN into the infestation it is now. I can't take them seriously anymore.

oh shaddup, Andy, they are only words, it was a roast and she laid a freaking egg. If you hate ESPN, don't watch it. easy peasy...If someone says something stupid, you ignore it and go about your business..the freaking media and extremists want to blow everything so far out of proportion and people like you follow their lead like sheep.

That's great, but the races are still on ESPN. :boo:

She is a gutter mouthed drunken slut. If that's what ESPN wants then why should I care.
Eff Dana Jacobson. If she wants to be a drunken blabbermouth idiot, go ahead.

ESPN just sucks. I guess if they keep her around, they think she'll be entertaining.

I can get over Jacobson's remarks, they are just words. This, however, is just another reason on an already long list of why I detest ESPN.

I don't see the races staying on there for 7 more years anyways, so it probably doesn't matter.

It also looks like this will be IRL's final year of being ESPN exclusive.
