Well my Dad has said that he would like to get a dog again, it's been a couple years since his last dog passed away. I am thinking of getting him an Akita, he really likes those. Any know if there are any pups local?

Yeah, he's a pretty good boy, barks A LOT, but other then that he's a good kid.

Ernie isn't an Akita, but he's a great goofy dog...nice, friendly, sticks by your side...Ernie has the colors of a rottie/doberman, but he's lanky like a hound...sweet dog.

Correct me if I'm wrong... but I can't think of any rescue that will let him get a dog to give as a gift...

Mis-read it...thought it said his Dad was looking for a dog, and mentioned Ernie to show to his Dad...most rescues require the app from the actual person adopting, you are right.
