That's a plus.Awesome guy! He was the principal at Park Hall for a bit and all the kids really, really liked him.
I wonder why he's switching schools again? He really is a good guy and he's very easy to talk to. He interacts with a lot of the parents during assembly's and school activities. I had a problem with one of the teacher's at PH and spoke with Mr. Fancella and he was nothing but professional. I'd be surprised to hear anything bad about him.Anyone else have feedback? I know of one principal in the county who the kids adore, but adults find her impossible to work with. So I appreciate all sorts of feedback on this one because I am sure to have kids in the school longer than he'll be around, having already gone through 2 principals and 4-5 VPs in 7 years....I've got another 10 years with this school.
I had the same question since the letter that came home with the kids implied that he was only at GH for a year.I wonder why he's switching schools again? BTW, he's in the reserves - or at least he was.

He also mentions in his letter that he is in the Army National Guard.
There was a lot of switching around in the first year or two after then new superintentant came on-board. Not so much now, and not too many lateral moves.Does the school board shuffle teachers and staff around?
Does any parent REALLY interact that much with the principal anyway? :justcurious:
Depends on the parent and the kids. I've done a little volunteering, worked with the PTA and we need the principal's cooperation when recruiting for Cub Scouts. But there's also the question of how the school staff works with him. You don't want your favorite teachers or even the kindly school custodian leaving because the principal is a jerk.Does any parent REALLY interact that much with the principal anyway? :justcurious:
I could see small talk between staff and parents. Parent volunteers probably interact a lot with school staff.
