you can probably find something for you workouts

Forum Runner of Tap talk

Facebook, Twitter ... Skype ... Yahoo Messagner [although that is a battery hog]

multiple Amazon.com apps

Kindle App - I read 6 books before I got an iPad ...

you can Jailbreak it, and tether it to your laptop

Any suggestions on apps for the phone?

Weather - Weather Underground (better than apples weather app)
Calculator - 7th Gear (better than apples)

My daughter has her heart set on one of these. I know absolutely NOTHING about any type of smart phone. We still have old dumb phones with no web access.

It's definitely a fun phone.. I'm too green to really talk about it and I've kept it pretty simple so far, but it's been just a week. It's great right now, but it's the newest technology... 6 months from now, it'll be obsolete - then again, it's an Apple, they seem to hold their value from what I've seen/heard.

after a year I have 300 some apps installed



75% of which I hardly use ....... since I am not on the phone much, nice time killer when I am in the doctors office waiting room

Take her to the VzW store. Let her play with the iPhone 5 and Galaxy SIII. I pondered between the 2 of them. I chose the Galaxy SIII and couldn't be happier. I have several friends that iPhones and most of them have had issues and are not happy with them.

All her iPod apps will straight transfer to iPhone. She loves Bean's when they actually see each other

The big thing is that you will be required to buy a monthly data plan.
