The DIE hire, and affirmative action, floodgates are about to be opened. Can anyone imagine having to be extorted $15,000 a year in NJ property taxes to have their children taught by such people?

Won't matter in a couple of years. OpenAI already claims they have AGI and are working towards ASI, "Agents" will be entering the workforce this year. In a couple of years for a low-low subscription fee the schools can have individual "buddies" for each student that can tutor them with perfectly tailored curriculum to match their knowledge gaps and their capabilities. Imagine a teacher that perfectly understands your vernacular, can tailor examples and supporting media on the fly in graph, picture, or video form, that knows the correct answer for every question and never gets upset or exasperated no matter how many times you ask or how dumb your questions are, one that has been with you for years and knows which methods work best to get you to internalize the lesson.

Teachers will turn into babysitters in fact, just there to make sure each kid is interfacing with their buddy for the appropriate amount of time each day.
