The State of Maryland, in conjunction with The American Psychological Association and Jail Reform has suggested a new reform in Police procedures. In a study soon to be released, psychologists have determined that people that have been allegedly convicted of some infractions of white supremacist "laws" face extreme anxiety / agitation and possible psychotic episodes when they hear what appear to be blaring sirens of Police vehicles. In many circumstances, it may cause the person to make erratic decisions and run, causing an elevation of blood pressure.
Dr. Emmit Taylor, spokesman for the consortium, strongly suggests each Marylander in urban neighborhoods, initially Baltimore and Prince George's County, have a slightly invasive pod inserted in an arm, much like an insulin monitor, that receives text messages that a police vehicle is close by. The mandate also requires local police departments disconnect their audible signaling devices in lieu of this new technology. Insurance companies will be required to cover the cost of the monitor and insertion. The CoVid/Omnirona restrictions will be suspended for this new procedure.
Dr. Fauci suggested this is a brilliant idea but added the additional benefit of "tracking" potential virus carriers.
Governor Larry Hogan has already purchased 400,000 monitors from a supplier in South Korea, however its unclear if the technology will interface with police departments.
