Splenda

While at a picnic this weekend ants got into the Splenda while we were away........later that afternoon when we came back, there were at least 25 dead ants in the bag and no trail of ants leading away from the bag.

Think about it.........:dead:

That's very disturbing. No wonder that stuff gives me the shakes. I prefer a chemical whose side effects are known, thanks. Pink stuff only for me!!

I know that my doctor and the Diabetes Asscociation recommend Splenda over the pink stuff anyday! The pink stuff tasted awful anyway.

Not dead yet.
Many years ago I was an naturalist in a nature center run by the TVA in Kentucky. We hads lots of hummingbirds and many hummingbird fanciers would stop in to watch them, especially their mating flights, but I digress. . .

One lady came in all upset because the hummingbirds at her house were dying after they drank from her feeder. Turned out she was using sweet -n- low to sweeten the kool-aid she put in the feeder because she thought it would be healthier. Those birds starved on full tummies!
