17 inch CRT that I paid $400 for 10 years ago.
That's amazing to think about. Now you can get a 20" flat panel for under $200.

Remember the days when all you could get was a 15" that weighed a ton and cost a fortune?

My first PC was custom built by MacClair Multimedia..cost a lot and had a tiny 15" heavy as lead monitor and DIAL UP..whooohooo....I had Chesapeake.net...back in '96.

And GIG was not even a word then.!!

I have my computer hooked-up to my 42" LCD projection TV in my family room. I can sit across the room using a wireless mouse and keyboard and still watch TV using the picture-in-a-picture feature on the TV. :yay:

Of course, the LCD TV cost a lot more that your monitor!
