New 'Nigerian Scam' variant

I actually toyed with them a little on this one, by responding at first.

They are a bit better than I have seen before with spelling and grammar.

They send out emails for 'Mystery shoppers'. When you respond, they send you a check or money order to make a transaction at a WU location to another 'mystery shopper' because supposedly there have been compalints about that location.

How much do you want to bet the check never clears because it is phoney, and you will be out the 200 you wired? Any takers? :lmao:

These people can be fun to play with.

I may follow through, and let them pester me for not wiring the $$ to them, and just tell them that the complaints must be legitimate and the location stole their money!! :roflmao:

If you get one of these "checks" you can either take it to your bank or send them an e-mail with the routing number, and usually they will verify it for you.
