New Phone

My new phone is truly smarter than myself. I guess I have been living in the stone ages.

I got a new sony ericsson W300i (it's so pretty - black, silver and orange). Anyway, I am bluetooth clueless, how do I operate my headset? I also don't understand my walkman thing. I have the data cable. Can I load songs from my iTunes library? Also, they sent me a new sim card to replace my old one. Can I load my old one in to import my contacts or am I going to have to enter everybody manually?

Any help appreciated. And yes I have read the owner's manual - which left me

Blue tooth is easy.. you have to look under "tools" "Bluetooth" and "Paired Devices"... Turn on your headset, and click on connect on the phone.. The phone should find it, and pair up to it.. Your headset should have a button to push that after you pair the two, any time you want to connect the headset you just push the button..

As far as songs, and such.. it is Verizon?? iTunes is a possibility but I'm sure you'll have to convert them to a different format.

Contacts I didn't think were stored on a card.. I always go online when buying a new phone, and pay $1.99 for the back up service.. get the new phone activated, do a recover on the back up site, then cancel the service..

Thanks Bob. :huggy:

I got my Bluetooth working I think. Is my headset supposed to ring or just my phone?

My phone's so small I put it on a lanyard. :lmao:

When it's connected you should have a blue tooth symbol lit up in blue on the cover and face of your phone.. if it's not connected but you have paired it, the bluetooth symbol will still be there, but it will be white not blue.

If you see the white symbol push the big button on the headset and the symbol will turn blue and you are in business.. you'll hear the ring in the headset, and just press the big button to answer the call, and again to hang up..

I just downloaded my first songs from my library to it. I had to save it as an mp3 first. Give me a few weeks and I "might" have this sucker figured out!
