Toyota recalls another 2.17 million U.S. vehicles - AutoWeek Magazine

Toyota Motor Corp. said Thursday it will recall 2.17 million Toyota and Lexus vehicles in the United States to inspect and repair accelerator pedals that may get trapped in floor mats or carpeting.

They don't. I have a camry and have had no problems. But if I was to lift up and throw my floor mat on top of the gas pedal, there may be an issue...with me being a moron. :eyeroll: It's just an appeasement effort for the freaking mindless masses who somehow believe their car is going to turn into an uncontrollable raging demon, because the mass hysteria media told them so, and never corrected their false information.

And it's easier for the company to pay off a few morons and go along with the stupidity, thus avoiding being crucified over nothing like Audi was. Reality doesn't matter; perception rules all!

Got one of my 3 Toyota's with this recall, my Highlander, crazy thing is I got notice from Toyota in the mail today, thought man that was a quick notification, they only announced it yesterday, turns out they have a recall on a brake seal. Never even heard about that recall.:shrug:
